HTC 過去曾經是很受歡迎的 Android 手機品牌，不過近年已漸漸式微，近年最積極發展的品牌產品，大槪就只有 Vive VR 產品。正當大家快要忘了它是個手機品牌之際，他們就在 Twitter 上宣布將為旗下三款旗艦手機產品提供 Android P 升級。
2017 年 9 月 Google 買下了 HTC 負責開發 Pixel 手機的團隊，而出自他們手的 Pixel 3a 亦已發表。不過 HTC 最近推出的旗艦級手機，要數到去年 6 月推出的 U12+ ，這款手機至今還是使用 Android 8 Oreo 作業系統。

而在日前的公布中，就宣布了 U11 、 U11+ 和 U12+ 三款手機： U11 將於 5 月下旬更新，接著在 6 月更新 U12+ ，最後是在 6 月下旬更新 U11+ 。至於其他型號和剛剛開始公測的 Android Q 嘛⋯⋯等官方公布吧，如果有的話⋯⋯
