Apple 宣佈 Apple TV app 正式推出 Android 版本，用戶現在可從 Google Play 下載，並可在 Android 流動裝置，包括手機、平板與摺疊裝置上使用及觀賞 Apple TV+ 的原創影集與電影，更可購買包括職業足球大聯盟賽事的 MLS 季票，觀看頂級的賽事。
現在，Android 用戶在 Android 流動裝置及 Google TV 裝置上可以直接用 Google Play 帳號訂閱 Apple TV+ 和 MLS 季票，Apple TV+ 還提供七日免費試用；如本身已用 Apple ID 訂閱 Apple TV+ 服務，亦可用 Apple ID 登入收看劇集和電影等娛樂內容。
Apple TV app 其實在 2021 年 6 月曾在 Android 平台推出過，並可在 Android TV 上使用。但維持不到一年，於 2022 年 3 月就連同 Android TV 版本的 Apple Music 一同下架。當時有報道指，疑因 Apple 和 Google 之間就平台費用分成出現爭抝令彼此無法合作。
